KONSTANTIN GRCIC, Cast_1: Work Lamps

032c workshop is pleased to present the first part of KONSTANTIN GRCIC’s CAST_1 series, and the release of his 032c special-edition Diana side tables. “CAST_1” is a never-ending program bringing together new, forgotten, anonymous, commissioned, or reissued industrial objects and products. For the opening investigation in the series, Grcic uncovers the peculiar architecture of the work lamp with a selection of eight historical and contemporary designs that illustrate the varied forms of a product with a singular function. more

HELMUT LANG, hl-art archive, 1986–2005

032c workshop is pleased to present the first-ever exhibition of HELMUT LANG’s digitized fashion archive. Of the 10,000 items of Lang’s design that have been photographed and archived over the past four years, 3,000 were selected to be included in a video documenting his work in fashion, spanning a period of nearly two decades—and simultaneously embodying his creative role at the crossroads of fashion and art. more
